Collection of personal data when you visit our website
If you visit our website simply to find out information, we only collect the personal data your browser sends to our server. Processing and use of your data within the framework of application procedures
In order to use the online application procedure, personal data such as name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, date of birth as well as information on your qualifications, CV and career are recorded. In addition, you have the option of submitting documents such as certificates and other attachments.
The personal data that you provide to us with your online application is stored electronically and used by us solely to process the application. We recommend that you submit your application exlusively through our online application program.
If, based on your profile, we believe that your application may be relevant to other departments within the PFAFF group, we will forward your application data accordingly. Your data is only forwarded within the PFAFF group and not third parties outside the PFAFF group.
By submitting your online application you agree to the collection, processing, and user of your data as described above.
Duration of data storage
Your personal data will be stored or deleted in compliance with the following measures and any personal data in paper form will be destroyed in accordance with data protection regulations:
- If you have applied exclusively in response to a specific job advertisement, your application data will be stored for a maximum of 6 months from the date of notification of this decision until the final decision on filling this position is made.
- At the end of the above-mentioned periods, the data you have provided will be made anonymous and the documents you have sent will be deleted. After this time, we will only process non-personal data for the purposes of statistical evaluation.
- This does not apply if you have expressly agreed to longer storage.
- Furthermore, something else only applies if an employment relationship is established on the basis of your application; in this case your application data will also be processed for the purpose of carrying out the employment relationship.
Applicant pool
If you have also decided to be included in our pool of applicants or have submitted a speculative application to the PFAFF Group of Companies, we have the opportunity to consider your personal details for future positions within the PFAFF Group and to contact you.
This consent is voluntary and has no effect on your chances within the application process. Consent can be revoked at any time and without giving reasons.
Your data will be stored for a period of 12 months.
Data storage
Your application will be processed via the d.vinci application management system of d.vinci HR-Systems GmbH, Nagelsweg 37-39, 20097 Hamburg. Contractual arrangements in accordance with the DSGVO have been concluded with d.vinci HR-System GmbH. The data is stored in encrypted form in a German data centre and hosted by the company d.vinci.
Transfer of data to a third country
Your data will only be transferred to a third country, i.e. a country outside the European Economic Area, if you have applied for a position at the locations of the PFAFF Group's subsidiaries or if we consider you suitable for a position at our subsidiaries due to your qualifications.
Declaration of consent for applicants who are minors
If you have not yet reached the age of 16, a declaration of consent from your legal guardian is required, stating clearly that your legal guardian agrees with your application to the PFAFF Group and, if desired, with your inclusion in our pool of applicants. We will provide you with a declaration of consent for this purpose.
Within the scope of the declaration of consent obtained, we process personal data in the form of the first name and surname of the respective legal guardian for the purpose of verification. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. F) DSGVO. Our legitimate interest here is to be able to provide proof of the age of the respective applicant and hereby fulfil our obligations as responsible persons within the meaning of the DSGVO. The personal data of the respective legal guardian is processed on the basis of the information provided in this data protection declaration.
Your rights as a data subject
You have the right of access (Art. 15 DSGVO), the right of rectification (Art. 16 DSGVO) or deletion (Art. 17 DSGVO) or the right to restrict processing (Art. 18 DSGVO) or a right to object to processing (Art. 21 DSGVO) as well as a right to data transferability (Art. 20 DSGVO).
In particular, you have the right to revoke any consent you have given at any time and without stating reasons for the future, Art. 7 para. 3 DSGVO. You also have a right of appeal to a supervisory authority.
If you exercise your right of revocation, we will no longer be able to take your data into account in the application process. This will then lead to the termination of the application procedure for you.
